Traderate allows you to pay for your purchase over equal instalments due on a weekly, fortnightly or
monthly basis after an initial 20% deposit. You can use your Visa or MasterCard.
How much can I spend with Traderate?
You can spend up to $2,000 using a credit card or $1,000 using a debit card that’s linked to your
transaction account.
What happens if I miss a payment?
A $10 Late Fee if a payment is due after the first attempt, with a further $7 Late Fee added seven
days after the payment is due if the payment is still unpaid. The maximum amount of late fees is
capped at $68. More information can be found in Schedule 1 of the
Terms & Conditions
Does Traderate affect my credit rating?
No. However, we do reserve the right to report negative activity on your account to credit rating
agencies.
What if I'm unhappy with the service provided?
Traderate are responsible for the facilitation of payment. In case of a fault or issue with quality
of workmanship provided, Traderate encourage you to contact your trade business immediately. If you
have a dispute which cannot be resolved directly with the tradesperson or company, we advise you to
contact your state Consumer Affairs office and provide full detail in relation to the matter.
Is Traderate safe and secure?
At Traderate our number one priority is the protection of your data. We use the Stripe Payment
Platform who have been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider
Level 1.
This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. To accomplish
this, we make use of best-in-class security tools and practices to maintain a high level of
security.
Can I change my Repay Day?
Your Repay Day is based on the day of the week you complete your deposit with us. So, if you setup a
Traderate payment on a Tuesday, your repayments will come out every Tuesday based on your weekly,
fortnightly or monthly selection. Payments are usually taken between 2am-5am. If you need to change
your Repay Day so it matches any deposits, just let us know by sending us an email to
